Magdalene Matriarch is the rightful ruler to the City of Sanctity. She's fearless and charismatic, and her excellent leadership skills and quick wit help her navigate the perpetual maze of politics which threaten to undermine her status. Despite spending most of her life in upper-class luxury, however, she's a ferocious fighter and demonstrates immense courage in the face of danger.
The unfurling ferret is the ever-hungry, whip-like extension of Magdalene, whose melee abilities can be used to parry and deflect enemy attacks, and even send projectiles back at the one who fired them. The unfurling ferret operates on a cooldown system, where it will need to recharge before being available for another deflection. If any harm were to come to this strange creature, Magdalene would not hesitate to enact a swift, unforgiving justice.
The sovereign sceptre is proof of Magdalene's queenly descent, and her right to the throne of the City of Sanctity. The staff is imbued with a magical power, however, and it can fire balls of light from the crystal on its end with pinpoint accuracy. It is Magdalene's most trustworthy tool in her mission through the sewers, and can fend off gelatinous blobs and rabid rats in a pinch.
The shuffling shoes, gifted to Magdalene by the hermits of the garbage heap, allow her to dash quickly and evade oncoming attacks with ease. With enough upgrades, the shoes will receive additional perks and unique, game-changing movement abilities, such as the tactical sprint, gap-jump, and roll.
